The 5th International Leirion Model United Nations Conference extends the academic standards to new limits and provides a new perspective on MUN simulations. "The Law of the Sea as a Pillar of International Legitimacy: Addressing Contemporary Challenges" is the conference's main topic this year. The matter has not yet been examined in any MUN simulation. This important subject will be used as the centerpiece of all committees, and each committee will approach the topic from a unique perspective, generating a lively and complex debate. Workshops, round tables, and seminars with the goal of enhancing participants' knowledge and improving their professional abilities will further strengthen the academic program. In addition, we constantly monitor the agenda for the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, with an emphasis on SDGs 4, 16, and 17, pulling our debates into line with global goals for partnerships for development, peace and justice, and high-quality education. The 5th International Conference of Leirion MUN Conference is ideal for students of law, social sciences, political science, and economics. However, participation is open to anyone eager to expand their knowledge, enhance their CV, travel, make new friends, and connect with different cultures. We invite you to join us on this journey of knowledge and coexistence in Athens, Greece, in April 2026.
