Marilena Kousiori
Marilena Kousiori was born in Athens in 2002. She is a founding member of the Leirion Alternative Library and a member of its board of directors, as well as a musician and songwriter.
From the age of six, she studied music and Ancient Greek.
She graduated with honors from the Music School of Pallini and is currently in her final year at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, studying in the Department of Theatre Studies.
She is passionate about Greek mythology and Egyptian history.
In her free time, she reads extensively, listens to podcasts, writes music, and enjoys traveling.
In the early years of Leirion Alternative Library, she was responsible for editing texts in Greek and designing printed materials for the workshops. She also coordinated all entertainment programs for three years.
She is socially conscious and offers help wherever needed with selflessness—for example, she volunteered for six months at the organization Antigone.
She entered the world of MUN in 2021 as a member of the Organizing Committee and assistant manager of the 1st and 2nd conferences, and served as manager and Head of the Organizing Team in the 3rd conference.
She is fluent in both Greek and English.
