Niki Paraskevopoulou
Niki Paraskevopoulou is a final-year candidate in the Joint Master’s in Law and Finance of
Sciences Po Paris. She specializes in economic and business law, financial markets, and
regulatory compliance. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Politics and Government from Sciences
Po and is concurrently completing a Bachelor’s in Economic Science at the University of
Piraeus. Her academic journey includes an exchange year at Vassar College in New York, USA,
where she studied diplomacy, economic geography, and postcolonial studies. She is an alumna of
Athens College (Salutatorian of Class of 2020).
Her professional background combines experiences in international law, compliance, and public
service. Most recently, Niki worked at the Forensics & Integrity Services department of EY in
Paris (2025), where she contributed to high-level investigations on corruption in Latin America,
tax fraud in France, compliance reviews in the luxury sector, and asset tracing missions. She
previously worked as a law clerk at the Paris office of White & Case LLP (2024) within the
Project Finance department, working on energy projects and focusing on the renewable energy
regulatory framework. During her academic exchange in the US, she served as a legal intern at
the Public Defender’s Office of Poughkeepsie, New York (2023), focusing on criminal and
family law, while she also worked as a research assistant at the French & Francophone Studies
Department of Vassar College, contributing to academic work on gender identity debates in
France. Earlier in her career, she gained exposure to banking and financial operations as a
Summer Intern at Eurobank in Athens (2019), rotating across asset management, treasury,
equities, private banking, marketing, and HR.
Beyond academia and professional practice, Niki has been deeply involved in Model UN and
international student initiatives. Most notably, as the Conference Manager of the first two
sessions of Leirion MUN in Athens, she co-led the design and organization of the conference,
overseeing logistics, budget, and international partnerships, attracting 300 delegates from more
than 20 countries. During her undergraduate studies, she served on the executive board of one of
the five permanent associations of Sciences Po’s Reims campus, the Reims International Model
UN (RIMUN), as the Head of Partnerships.
As the Secretary-General of the non-profit company Leirion Alternative Library, she was also a
manager of an international charitable project of promoting values of freedom and coexistence to
children through poetry workshops. The project culminated in the publication of the trilingual
book Co-exister Librement that was sold in France and Greece to support associations that help
vulnerable children. Niki led the execution of the project’s chapter in France.
She has also held leadership roles in refugee support associations, cultural projects, and student
societies in France and Greece. During high school, she volunteered at ActionAid Hellas.
Trilingual in Greek, English, and French, and conversational in Spanish, Niki combines expertise
in law and finance with a passion for international cooperation, diplomacy, and youth
empowerment. Her academic and professional trajectory reflects her commitment to bridging
law, finance, and global governance in addressing contemporary challenges.
